The exhibition ""Karl Hagemeister - The light that changes forever"" has been extended until 06.09.2020. The exhibition presents a retrospective view of the Impressionist's painterly and graphic work. Born in 1848, Hagemeister lived in Werder an der Havel, apart from his study trips, and is today considered one of the pioneers of modern landscape painting. Next to it is the Museum Barberini, where the exhibition ""Impressionism - The Hasso Plattner Collection"" will open on 7 September 2020. Masterpieces by Monet, Renoir, and Signac from the collection of the museum founder make Potsdam one of the world's most important centers of Impressionist landscape painting.
