Currently, pipes are being laid on the quay and natural stone paving. The 600-meter section of the Hansering is located in the north of Greifswald's old town and has been undergoing redesign since fall 2020. The aim of the work is to continue the character of the historic rampart as well as to upgrade the southern part of the museum harbor and to connect it more strongly with the city. The cost of the redesign is around eight million euros. Construction work is scheduled to be completed by January 2023. Photo: Stefan Sauer/dpa. - Greifswald/Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania/Germany
