The foundation stone for the 55-meter-high structure on the Warnow River was laid one and a half years ago, and commissioning is planned for spring 2022. The unpressurized steel tank will store 45 million liters of water at a temperature of 98 degrees Celsius and feed it into the heating network as needed.
