Photo de stock - 02 July 2023, Bavaria, Bischbrunn: Firefighters are on duty at the scene of an accident on the A3 autobahn. Two people were injured in a rear-end collision on the A3 in the Main-Spessart district. The two men were driving a van from the north in the direction of Würzburg in the early hours of Sunday morning when they hit an articulated truck, presumably out of carelessness. Their car came to a standstill on the hard shoulder between the Spessart rest area and Marktheidenfeld. The 22-year-old passenger was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by the fire department. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries; the driver of the same age was only slightly injured, according to the police.
