Photo de stock - 05 February 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Stralsund: Biologist Helen Rößler prepares a Humboldt penguin for a scientific hearing test. The biologists investigate how well the seabirds can hear and in which frequency ranges and volume levels. Until now, little is known about the hearing of penguins. Separated from the penguin enclosure, a total of four animals have been lured daily to the hearing test for several months. The German-Danish research project will investigate the hearing ability of penguins.
