The holiday industry and the hospitality sector in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are coming under pressure after Schleswig-Holstein's decision to open up tourism and gastronomy to a large extent before Whitsun. If vacationers were not allowed to come to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, they would look for other destinations, according to the Dehoga state association. Schleswig-Holstein had decided that vaccinated, recovered and tested persons would be allowed to visit restaurants also indoors and stay overnight in lodging establishments including campsites from 17.05.2021 onwards under strict regulations throughout the state.
