On the occasion of the anniversary, the condition of the stairwell with its monumental cycle of pictures, completely destroyed in the Second World War, can be experienced again by means of VR glasses. Two 360-degree films take visitors back to a time when the walls of the hall were painted in their entire length and up to around eight metres high, showing the 19th century world view and the museum's basic ideas.
