In Saxony, more skilled workers retire than young people enter the workforce. That is why, according to experts, more labor and skilled workers are needed from abroad. Their share has more than quadrupled since 2013, from 1.8 to 7.4 percent, according to the Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency.
