Photo de stock - 18 January 2021, India, Neu Delhi: Ten-year-old Shekh Zahid shows the money he earned after selling recyclable items while collecting garbage at the Bhalswa garbage dump. The fourth-grader from Malda in West Bengal, whose father works as a rickshaw driver, started working during the October 2020 lockdown as schools were closed. His family sent him to Delhi to stay with an uncle who was already working as a rag picker. Shek earns 150 rupees, about 1.70 euros, a day by collecting recyclable material at the garbage dump.
