According to its own information, the children's hospice ""Pusteblume"" is the first children's and youth hospice in Germany with an outpatient care group. It is located in the middle of the Spreewald. In the stationary range there are twelve rooms for children, young people and young adults up to 27 years, who suffer from a life-shortening illness. Families can stay with their children in the ""Pusteblume"" for several weeks. Here they receive the necessary palliative and intensive medical care. Thanks to the grant from the lottery concession levy, the children's home has had an innovative therapeutic aid for a few months now: the sound bed.
