Photo de stock - 26 June 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Binz: Steps of the cast-iron spiral staircase in the tower of the hunting lodge Granitz. The staircase is currently blocked by the Corona rules. Many castles and museums because of Corona are still only partially open. The filigree self-supporting staircase with its 154 steps in the central tower of the castle, designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel, is 170 years old. The hunting lodge stands on the Tempelberg in the middle of the Granitz, only a few kilometres away from the Baltic seaside resorts Binz and Sellin. The building with its 38-metre-high observation tower was built in 1836 in neo-Gothic style by order of Prince Malte zu Putbus.
