There, transport carts for parcels are loaded onto the streetcar operated by the Schwerin public transport company. Deutsche Post has launched a pilot project for parcel delivery by streetcar. In cooperation with the city of Schwerin and the local transport company NVS, the company plans to transport around 450 parcel shipments to parcel stations at tram stops once a day in the future using a special line.
