Photo de stock - 29 August 2022, Bavaria, Nuremberg: Heike Wolter, a qualified restorer from ProDenkmal GmbH, inspects the natural stone of the Zeppelin grandstand on the former Nazi Nazi Party Rally Grounds visually and also acoustically by percussion sampling with a chisel. Experts from a special company in Bamberg are currently examining the approximately 370-meter-long and 20-meter-high dilapidated stone grandstand and noting the individual damages. The work will be completed in June of next year, says restorer Heike Wolter. Then the experts want to make a recommendation on how the structure could be repaired.
