Already he is 7 ft. 9 ins. and weighs 255 lbs. When this enormous youth lost strength and just couldn't keep up with himself, he was admitted to Tokyo's University Hospital and there Professor Kontaro Shimizu, the brain surgeon, examined him and decided on an organization to try and halt his growth, which he claimed was due to abnormality in the pituitary gland. Even while waiting for the operation, Yoshimitsu increased by five inches. Although still in hospital for observation, since the operation Yoshimitsu has guided in strength and his growth has almost halted. He is being treated with hormones, as he was deficient almost entirely in sex hormones. He can --- half-a-mile, and his intelligence quotient is 100. he has an enormous appetite, but apart from a certain natural shyness at his size, is perfectly normal. The most outstanding case of giantism occured in 1890 in Europe, when the man reach the height of 8ft 7 ins. Never before in records has there been such a case among the Japanese race.
