Photo de stock - Apr. 04, 1957 - The recognized conscientious objector Werner Zrenner: The board of examiners for conscientious objectors of the military-draft-board in Munich's District No. I had to examine six cases on April 10, 1957. Two were recognized, two were rejected and one was suspended. In case of Werner Zrenner, 19, was the reason for recognition as conscientious observer the death of his father. His father had been shot during the last war because he had refused to serve with a weapon in his hand, being an Adventist. The board of examiners could consent to the young man's petition because he was obviously forced into this decision through the horrible fate of his father.
