Stennis (CVN 74) after participating in a search and rescue (SAR) exercise with the ´Eightballers´ of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HS) 8. Stennis, as part of the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, is on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO help set the conditions for security and stability, as well as aid counter-terrorism and security efforts to the regional nations.
