Photo de stock - The Nasrid Palaces were several palaces connected together. The construction of the Mexuar Oratory is attributed to Isma´il 1314_1325. The room was used by the Sultan, his family and the Court for praying. Here, the landscape of the Albaycin, the old Arab quarter, was incorporated into the architectural design. The design allowed worshippers who were kneeling on the floor to still observe the landscape. The walls are covered with stucco that includes a holy text from the Koran and praises by Muhammad V, as well as floral and geometric themes.
