Michelle Gilders

about me I am a photographer, writer and biologist. I grew up in England, and after several years in Alaska and then coastal British Columbia, found that Alberta provided the ideal base for majestic mountains, incredible wildlife, thrilling rodeos, and stunning pow-wows. Based in Cochrane, Alberta, I have expanded my collection of images to include rodeos, pow-wows and First Nation dance competitions, firework displays, urban centres, and travel destinations. I am the author of 9 books.
