Stock Photo - A very fine lace square with a centrepiece of the Tartan and Regimental Badge of the Cameronian Scottish Rifles. This belonged to the family of Private 40520 Adam Shaw, Cameronian Scottish Rifles who was killed in action on the 21st September 1918. He is buried in Meath Cemetery, Villers Guislain, France. Adam was born in Glasgow on the 1st October 1897. He enlisted in the Highland Light Infantry, later transferring to the Cameronian Scottish Rifles after being wounded. He later gave this square to his sister, Mrs. Peggy McNeish of Glasgow. . Commemorative Art
