The Hoba meteorite is the largest meteorite ever found in the world, which struck around 80,000 years ago in the Otav mountains in Namibia. His weight was calculated with up to 60 tons, his estimated age is at least 190 million years. It consists of 82% iron, its other ingredients are nickel (16%) and cobalt (1%) and a number of other trace elements. The area around the meteorite, designed by the Roessing Uranium Liwithed Group, is today a national monument of Namibia.
