Stock Photo - 02 May 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Oranienbaum-Wörlitz: Melanie Korn, restorer, is holding in her hands a whale bone club from New Zealand in the South Sea Gallery in Wörlitz Castle. Under the motto ""Return to the Light"", the show is dedicated to the natural scientist, ethnologist and travel writer Georg Forster (1754-1794). The core of the show is a collection of 250-year-old artefacts that are now returning to the public eye after more than three decades. The exhibits are natural materials from the South Seas, some of which do not exist a second time. The Wörlitz treasure was extensively restored in the past months and can now be seen again.
