Stock Photo - 07 November 2019, Saxony-Anhalt, Klein Chüden: Craftsmen stand on scaffolding and help to salvage the bell from the bell tower of the village church. The bells belonged to the church of the neighbouring village of Jahrsau, which was desettled from 1952 to 1961 and completely demolished from 1970 to 1971. After the demolition of the church, the bell had been brought to Klein Chüden, where it was used as a church bell to commemorate the division of Germany. The village church is currently being demolished and is to be rebuilt in the Diesdorf open-air museum. Then also the Jahrsauer bell should ring there again.
