Faces of Life after the Holocaust"" is showing large-format portraits of 75 Holocaust survivors in an exhibition in Essen starting this Wednesday. The show with close-ups by renowned artist Martin Schoeller will be opened on Tuesday by Chancellor Merkel (CDU). The 51-year-old had photographed the 75 men and women, who all live in Israel, in Jerusalem last June. One of the sitters, Naftali Furst, is expected to attend the opening.
