Stock Photo - 28 May 2020, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Poppendorf: View of the manor house in Poppendorf, which today is mainly used privately. Poppendorf is located in the eastern outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Rostock. At the end of the village street you reach the former manor house. Its centre is the manor house, today's ""Musenhof"". This was probably built after 1690 and was subsequently converted and extended. The classicistic facade dates from the beginning of the 19th century. After 1990 Uta Börner bought back the parental estate and in 1992 she founded an association to promote the restoration and preservation of the manor house and its use as a museum.
