Stock Photo - 09 October 2020, Brandenburg, Brandenburg A.D.Havel: As an extension of the Heinrich-Heine-Bank, the pedestrian bridge, popularly known as the ""Belly Ache Bridge"" because of its strong curvature, spans a side arm of the Brandenburger Niederhavel. The bridge was ceremonially opened in 1922 and officially named after the donor, Kommerzienrat Gottfried Krüger. Because of the minimum height of 2.90 metres for the barge passages, the arch was a requirement of the residents when planning the structure.
