. Most common form is red or orange with 14 dots and distinct white ""cheekk patches"" with black ""W"" marking on pronotum. Legs and underside are reddish brown. HA has many disguises, often confused with other ladybirds. HA is cannibalistic and will eat other ladybird lavae and competes with native species. HA emits a chemical which can damage fruit crops such as grapes.
