All cross-channel and short-sea vessels crowed by union members will be affected immediately the strike starts. Men in deep-sea vessels including passenger ships, tankers, bulk carries and contain ships-will ban overtime if they are at sea of at foreign ports and will go on strike when they reach home ports.
