It commemorates the Jews who were deported from the station to the concentration and extermination camps between 1942 and 1945. Seven Gotha youths aged 13 to 19 years have dealt with the Jewish past of the city and the commemoration of it in two self-made videos. The results of the ""Memory Walk"" format can now be found on the video platform Youtube and on the website of the Friedenstein Castle Foundation.
