Over 170,000 samples have been tested for coronavirus in the laboratories of the Friedrich Löffler Institute for Medical Microbiology in the last two years. The swabs come from the University Hospital itself, from Wolgast Hospital and from public testing centers. Between 350 and 700 new PCR tests are performed every day.
