The color dispute over the church chapel is once again occupying the police on the island of Rügen. A police spokesman said that investigations are underway on suspicion of damage to property - the church congregation has filed a complaint. Unknown persons have again painted white hearts on the terracotta-colored outer facade of the octagonal house of worship - this time eight, one on each corner. It is the second time since 2021 that unknown persons have thus pointed out that local residents would actually like to see the church's exterior painted white.
