The vehicle was used among other things as an escort vehicle for members of the Politburo of the GDR. On the traditional Ostmobile meeting in Thale it was a visitor magnet. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary, many participants and lovers of old East vehicles showed up. The sunny weather attracted many visitors.
