In total, around 20,000 half-year old salmon were released in the Nuthe catchment area under the sponsorship of the Saxony-Anhalt State Anglers' Association. About 20 percent of these salmon will migrate to the sea. During the 2022 to 2023 upstream season, 10 salmon, 44 sea trout, and 12 unidentifiable large salmonids were recorded as returning fish using the video capture station.
