For the first time since 2019, the largest festival of local history and associations in the Free State will be celebrated again at the beginning of September. Around 180,000 visitors are expected to attend in Aue from September 1 to 3. The highlights include a large parade on Sunday afternoon. In addition, all visitors are to sing the Steigerlied, the secret anthem of the Ore Mountains, on Saturday at 6 p.m. - virtually as one big choir.
