Lehweß-Litzmann was a member of the commission investigating the plane crash. Ursula B. was a nurse at the city's clinic. An Ilyushin IL-62 of the GDR company Interflug had crashed shortly after takeoff near Königs Wusterhausen on August 14, 1972. All passengers and crew members lost their lives.
