Stock Photo - 03 June 2020, Saxony, Dresden: An employee of Sächsische Dampfschiffahrt moors a salon ship at the landing stage on the terrace bank. The Sächsische Dampfschiffahrt Dresden (SDS) has filed for insolvency. The background to this are financial difficulties for which SDS last week blamed the missing tranche of a loan from the Free State. The ""White Fleet"" operates with nine paddle steamers built between 1879 and 1929 as well as two modern passenger ships and is considered the oldest and largest fleet of paddle steamers in the world.
