On the same day the new water hiking resting place was opened. According to the city administration, the 240-metre-long east pier from 1935 has been fundamentally renovated. A 90 metre long and four metre wide jetty for passenger ships, tall ships and river cruise ships as well as 25 guest berths including electricity and drinking water connections were created. The total investment at the eastern pier was reported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs at 9.86 million euros, of which 8.5 million were subsidies from the state.
