Stock Photo - 03 May 2022, Berlin: A beekeeper holds a branch of a tree of life, a Thuja, on which part of a swarm of bees has gathered. Normally, each bee colony has one queen. If a second one hatches, the old queen bee leaves the hive with part of her colony. Depending on the size, there can be more than 10,000 bees that leave in search of a new dwelling. The remaining bees in the hive, breed a new queen through their brood and thus form a new colony. Photo: Wolfgang Kumm/dpa. - Berlin/Berlin/Germany
