For 15 years, every Friday has been walk day for the three alpaca ladies, making it one of the most varied days of the week. The former marketing manager, who is known in his area as an alpaca breeder and alpaca whisperer, shares his love of alpacas in his retirement with his wife Anita, who worked as a lecturer in traffic education. For both of them and the three residents of the zoo, the hour-and-a-half walk in the meadows and the adjacent park has become a fixed ritual in all weathers, much to the delight of visitors and walkers.
