Stock Photo - 04 November 2021, Bavaria, Nuremberg: Rebecca Ritter, inventor from the Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg Tuttlingen, presents films made of rapidly biodegradable bio-polymer during the International Inventors' Fair iENA. The films are made of the material chitosan, which is obtained from shell waste of crustaceans and insects. The film is water-soluble and degrades by about 10 to 50 percent in one week.
