Air Liquide has invested more than ·40 million in the construction of a state-of-the-art air separation plant (ASU) on BASF's Schwarzheide site. The new LTA will produce oxygen and nitrogen for BASF, as well as provide CO2-free compressed air needed by BASF to manufacture battery materials.
