In the immediate vicinity, the ""Tourist Information Center at the Pömmelte Ring Shrine"" has been opened. The building is the first contemporary rammed earth structure in central Germany. For the visitor center, about 130 tons of clay were stamped layer by layer by hand. The building is 25 meters long, five meters wide and 3.60 meters high.
