Stock Photo - 06 April 2020, Berlin: Marcel Kohlschmidt, bus driver, looks into the photographer's camera. The 28-year-old says that there is less traffic on the streets, fewer passengers and occasionally a spooky silence. The front entrance is blocked, a foil completely shields the driver from the passenger area and tickets are no longer sold in the bus. He already thinks that some people are taking advantage of this to drive black, especially since ticket revenues have fallen by 95 percent. If a wheelchair user is invited on the bus, he protects himself with a mask and gloves. Kohlschmidt is less worried about himself, but it is a queasy feeling when people cough and get on the bus sickly, which could infect the family. He is proud to be able to continue working in this situation - once during his break he talked to a worried lady and gave her two masks, which moved her to tears.
