Stock Photo - 06 August 2020, Saxony-Anhalt, Halle (Saale): A record with Wangerooger Frisian is to be found in the ""Phonetic Collection"" of the Martin Luther University Halle on a Lindström gramophone from 1931. The university's collection is a time travel through the world of playing and recording technology from the beginning of the 20th century to the present and at the same time contains a valuable sound archive. In addition to tapes or vinyl records, the collection also includes 120 wax cylinders with voice recordings, including dialects.
