Stock Photo - 06 May 2022, Saxony-Anhalt, Cochstedt: A research aircraft from the German Aerospace Center (DLR) stands on the apron of Magdeburg-Cochstedt Airport. The airport has officially gone back online and will serve DLR as a ""real laboratory"" in the future. In a first step, takeoffs and landings for aircraft up to 5.7 tons in visual flight mode are possible again. Together with the National Test Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems, which is operated on the site, a test infrastructure is to be created. In Cochstedt, there are realistic conditions to make mixed traffic from manned and unmanned aviation a reality. Photo: Klaus-Dietmar Gabbert/dpa. - Cochstedt/Saxony-Anhalt/Germany
