On the same day, the ""RescueFly"" drone system for water rescue was presented at Partwitz Lake on the border between Saxony and Brandenburg. Automated drones are intended to facilitate the work of emergency personnel in water rescue in the future. In the project ""RescueFly - Drone-based Water Rescue"", an interdisciplinary team of scientists and companies is developing solutions for drone-assisted rescue operations under the coordination of the Björn Steiger Foundation.
