The listed wooden church is to move from its remote location in the forest to the village a few kilometres away. The relocation is intended to protect the more than 100-year-old wooden church from vandals who have vandalized the building, which is unique in the country, time and again in recent years. According to the association, the project will cost a total of around one million euros, a large part of which will be financed by donations. It is planned to complete dismantling and rebuilding by next year. The association bought the land at the new location and the church itself.
