Under the motto ""We are here!"", the festival is scheduled to run until August 2 with pandemic restrictions. Thus, an Italian opera gala with music by Verdi and Puccini will be performed on nine evenings. Nine further performances will feature a programme ""Around the world in 80 minutes"" with melodies from musicals and operettas. According to the theatre, the grandstand in front of the cathedral steps can accommodate around 500 visitors this year, subject to the rules of distance.
