Stock Photo - 08 March 2022, Saxony, Leipzig: After the partial removal of the scaffolding, the new buildings of the Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft (LWB) in Saalfelder Straße can be seen properly for the first time. The new residential complex with 300 apartments consists of 18 houses placed in six blocks around two residential courtyards. An underground parking garage provides space for 170 vehicles. The prerequisite for moving in is a certificate of eligibility for housing. After recently stagnating figures, the stock of social housing in Saxony has recovered somewhat.
