Stock Photo - 09 August 2019, Hessen, Frankfurt/Main: Johannes Kneifel stands in a corridor of the philosophical-theological university St. Georgen. As a young neo-Nazi, Kneifel, together with another perpetrator, attacked a man in Eschede in Lower Saxony on 10 August 1999 who had opposed the rights. They mistreated the victim in his apartment so brutally that she died the next day. The perpetrators received five years in juvenile detention. While one of them slipped further into the scene afterwards, Kneifel broke in prison with his right mind, turned to the church and later became pastor.
