Around ten years after the gigantic landslide in Nachterstedt, locals and guests will be able to bathe again on the northern shore of Lake Concordia from 13 July 2019. On 18 July 2009, several million cubic metres of soil had slipped into the lake created by a former opencast lignite mine. Several houses fell into the depths, three residents died.
